MUMBAI: The BMC's schooling division on Tuesday issued a showcause realize to Rustomjee Troopers School in Dahisar to post a file justifying the price hike within seven days and to cancel the leaving certificates sent to over 30 scholars.
"Until further orders from this department, the school must not issue leaving certificate to any students or take any other action. Leaving certificates already issued to students must be cancelled and they must be admitted back to school," stated the letter.
Members of the BMC schooling committee, Sainath Durge and Sheetal Mhatre, demanded the civic body initiate action against the college for sending leaving certificates regardless of directives not to achieve this from the schooling minister, Vinod Tawde, and schooling division officers. The oldsters' team has additionally written to the BMC schooling officer, Mahesh Palkar, in this regard. School authorities maintained they were going through the rulebook.
