CBSE Class 12th Maths paper 'tricky' question: Students to get full marks if answered correctly, says Board

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that Class 12 students who responded the 'difficult' six marks linear equation query in the once a year board exam 2019 accurately the use of right methods will probably be given full marks.


As in line with CBSE Board, there was a six marks linear equation query within the Class 12 Maths paper this 12 months which might be perceived in two alternative ways, main to 2 different answers.


According to Anurag Tripathi, secretary, CBSE, the Board will consider both the methods for fixing the linear equation as correct. However, best those students who've attempted or completed the query will probably be accorded marks.


“All students of the Class XII who gave the impression for the Mathematics Board exam may not be given marks. There was a subject with one query. The Board has made up our minds that since there are two methods for fixing the query, both will probably be taken as correct answers. Those students who solved the equation the use of either of the methods will probably be accorded full marks. Who have attempted and completed positive steps, marks will probably be given step wise. But no marks to be given to students who've now not attempted the query,” he added.
