The government has sanctioned nearly Rs four,000 cr for quite a lot of women safety projects under the Nirbhaya Fund that include monetary help to rape and acid assault sufferers and setting up of particular police units for women and kids. Highest Rs 2,919.55 cr has been sanctioned under the 'Safe City Project' being carried out in eight towns.
