MOHALI: Gold biscuits value Rs 76.28 lakh had been found hidden in a hollow space close to a seat on a flight from Dubai at the Chandigarh international airport on Tuesday.
According to sources in customs division, Raj Kumar (35), a resident of Mansa in Punjab, was detained after he deboarded from the IndiGo flight. The customs workforce rummaged the flight and found a packet of gold biscuits. Kumar was arrested but later launched on bail.
