NEW DELHI: In a last-ditch effort to stitch up an alliance with Congress, Aam Aadmi Party on Friday proposed a new formulation - 4:3 for the seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi and seven:2:1 for 10 seats in Haryana. Under this system, AAP will contest 4 seats in Delhi and Congress three, and in Haryana, Congress will contest seven seats, Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) two and AAP one.
AAP Delhi convenor Gopal Rai stated within the morning that AAP would watch for two days for a response. However, AAP announced at night time that it would make its choice clear at a press conference on Saturday morning.
