KANPUR: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, whilst looking for votes for BJP candidate from Etawah Ram Shankar Katheria, cliamed that US President Donald Trump had as soon as stated that if he becomes the president he'll work the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi is operating for construction of India. He stated that during elections in any a part of the arena the issues talked about are India and PM Modi. “In 2016 US Presidential election, Donald Trump had stated that ‘If I develop into the President I will work in the way PM Modi is operating for the advance of India’,” stated Yogi. His comment came after the 72-hour ban imposed on him via the Election Commission came to an end.
To recall, the BJP had replaced sitting party MP Ashok Dohre with Ramshankar Katheria as its candidate from Etawah parliamentary seat. Katheria is the present MP from Agra and could also be the chairman of SC/ST Commission.
Later, Dohre joined the Congress party in presence of the Congress president Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. Congress party later introduced Dohre as party candidate from Etawah. SP has given price tag to Kamlesh Katheria son of former SP MP Prem Shankar Katheria.
