MUMBAI: Unaware of the turbulence that Jet Airways was once in, Madan Lal Mali, a shopkeeper from Mumbai, purchased five tickets on a Mumbai-Ahmedabad flight for his family on April 10, to offer them a style of air shuttle.
However, when Mali reached Terminal 2 of Mumbai airport with his spouse and three kids in the wee hours of Thursday, they had to go back home with a sour style. The four am Jet flight was once cancelled, but the the Malis didn't learn about it.
"Had I known earlier, we could have taken the train," he rued. The family was once bound for their homeland in Pali, Rajasthan, and the second one leg in their journey was once to be on an AC bus from Ahmedabad. "I will miss that bus, lose that money too," he stated, as his kids appeared on disappointingly. "I would have not booked the AC bus tickets... I won't get a refund there," he added.
