Gurugram: 2 held in Kherki Daula toll plaza incident

GURUGRAM: The police on Sunday arrested two persons in reference to a case where a person allegedly dragged a toll plaza worker on his automobile's bonnet on Saturday.

The arrested accused had been identified as Sandeep and Pritam, each citizens of Gurugram.


According to the police, Pritam was driving the auto when the incident came about. The stated vehicle (Innova automobile) was additionally recovered from the ownership of the accused.

On Saturday, the accused hit and dragged a toll plaza worker who hung to the vehicle's bonnet at a pace of 100 kilometres in line with hour in Gurugram.

The automobile was requested to stop and pay on the Kherki Daula toll plaza but the driving force accelerated his vehicle, brushed previous the toll barrier and refused to stop even as the attendant got here out of his sales space.


Disregarding the attendant who jumped onto the bonnet of the auto, the motive force sped away on the Gurugram-Manesar highway with the toll worker hanging onto the bonnet.


"You'll stop my car? Even the police don't stop my car, the driver of the car told me after he refused to pay the toll," toll attendant Arun Kumar had instructed ANI.


The complete incident was captured on a CCTV digital camera installed on the sales space.


"They took me to the cloistered area, where they beat me up, tried to abduct me and assaulted me but somehow I managed to escape," stated Kumar.
