Headmaster held for sexually harassing student

BENGALURU: A 50-year-old govt faculty headmaster was arrested through Bengaluru Rural district police for allegedly sexually harassing a category IV scholar when she was attending the mid-day foods at a village close to Devanahalli on Monday.


Anjana Murthy, a resident of Doddaballapura and headmaster with a central authority upper number one faculty in a Devanahalli taluk, was thrashed through girls and locked up in a school room through locals.


Superintendent of Police (Bengaluru rural) Ram Nivas Sepat mentioned that a case has been registered towards the trainer in Vishwanathapura police station.


According to police, the incident came to gentle when the girl controlled to flee from the college and ran against her place of abode crying for lend a hand. The woman informed her mom about her trainer’s act. Villagers rushed to college and locked him inside of a room. A bunch of indignant girls beat him up prior to they inform jurisdictional police station.


Vishwanathapura police rushed to identify and detained the trainer. Later, they arrested him in response to the grievance filed through the girl’s father. Police have booked the trainer below quite a lot of sections of the IPC and POSCO Act.
