Hoax bomb call: Bihar man sent to 10 days police remand

AMBALA: A day after native police arrested a 52 year-old man from Bhiwani on Wednesday for allegedly making danger name, the accused has been despatched to 10 days police remand on Thursday. The accused has been recognized as Sheikh Salaudin, a resident of Samastipur district in Bihar and is a labourer. DSP headquarter Sultan Singh mentioned the police had arrested the accused from Bhiwani and he used to be presented in the court on Thursday. ``During preliminary investigation, Sheikh said that he used to be drunk when he known as railway coverage power (RPF) control room whilst threatening bombing several railway station. The accused told that he known as from near railway station and after the decision, he rushed to Bhiwani as he had paintings there,’’ Singh added. DSP ascertained that they have formed a team to research the topic and sought earlier police report of the accused.


The Railway Protection Force (RPF) control room had won a call from an unidentified miscreant who mentioned that a bomb has been planted at Ambala Cantonment railway station. Besides, he threatened of bombing several railway stations including Ambala Cantonment, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Patna, and Dharbhanga, police mentioned. The native police claimed the decision as hoax. After the incident, the district police had registered a case below Sections 505 (1) (B) (with intent to reason or which is more likely to reason fear or alarm to the public) and 506 (punishment for prison intimidtion) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Parao police station to start the investigation.
