India Meteorological Department predicted that the cyclonic circulate will proceed to transport west-northwest and gaining latitude. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is more likely to happen at remoted places over coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Thunderstorm activity will also intensify with gusty winds (50-60 kmph) and lightning.
