BEIJING: India opened their medal account with a gold each and every within the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team and 10m Air Pistol Mixed team occasions on the third day of competitions at the ISSF Shooting World Cup on Thursday.
Young shooters Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary took the top spot within the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team tournament after Anjum Moudgil and Divyansh Singh Panwar opened the country's gold account within the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team tournament.
Bhaker and Chaudhary outshot Jiang Ranxin and Pang Wei of China 16-6 within the final, which was held within the new structure during which best two teams battled for the gold medal.
The Indian pair, who had qualified for the overall at the 5th spot with 482 points, gained the first six collection and dominated the overall earlier than the Chinese mixture controlled to open their account.
It was Bhaker and Chaudhary's second World Cup gold within the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team tournament. The pair had gained their first yellow metal together at the ISSF World Cup held in February in New Delhi.
