LUCKNOW: Snatchers focused three girls in upmarket spaces of Gomtinagar, Jankipuram and Vikasnagar prior to now 24 hours. In Gomtinagar's Vinay Khand, two bike-borne males relieved a lady of her handbag on Saturday evening. Police stated sufferer Uma Mishra, a schoolteacher, used to be walking home by myself from the LDA market when she used to be accosted. She registered an FIR on Sunday. Gomtinagar station house officer R S Sonkar stated they have been taking a look at CCTV footage to spot the culprits.
The incident in Jankipuram came about in huge sunlight on Sunday, when unidentified males snatched a gold chain from one Saroj Devi at Ram Ram Bank Crossing while she used to be returning after a physician visit with her two kids. "I had got down from the rickshaw to purchase sweets when I was attacked. I have sustained injuries," stated the girl who lodged an FIR with Madiaon police.
In the third incident reported from Vikasnagar, sufferer Sheelu Singh advised police that she used to be returning home after picking her kid up from a creche around 3.30pm on Sunday when the snatchers on a motorbike lunged at her chain near Sector-3 crossing.
ASP (Trans-Gomti) Amit Kumar confirmed the FIRs and stated the entire three incidents gave the impression to have a link. "They are possibly the handiwork of the same gang. We are scanning CCTV camera feed," he added.
