Tirupur: A 26-year-old guy from Odisha used to be booked on charges of raping a 13-year-old lady from Bihar and impregnating the minor, who stays along with her circle of relatives in the town. The sufferer is six months pregnant.
According to police, the woman had come to town seven months ago to live along with her father, elder sister and brother-in-law, who had migrated to town 3 years ago.
“The sufferer’s mom had died years ago and the woman used to be staying in a relative’s space in Bihar before transferring to town. A college dropout, she incessantly stayed in the home along with her elder sister, who had given birth to a child not too long ago, whilst her brother-in-law and father would pass to paintings in knitwear gadgets,” a police officer stated.
The lady befriended Ajit Karshal, of Odisha, who used to be staying in her neighbourhood, and it seems the two were in a dating, the officer stated.
Recently, the woman complained of stomach pain and she or he used to be taken to Tirupur government health facility, the place medical doctors discovered she used to be six months pregnant. Her father due to this fact lodged a grievance with Tirupur south all-woman police, who booked Ajit under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Ajit, who used to be staying in his relative’s space, is on the run, the officer stated.
