Mumbai: In a freak accident, a 12-year-old girl died after falling off a swing while enjoying in a garden in Palghar on Monday morning.
According to the Palghar police, the child, Ravina Bhuriya, a resident of Navali, was enjoying within the municipal garden along with her younger brother when the incident came about.
Ravina got onto a swing and was playing herself when she misplaced her balance and fell, the police advised TOI.
She got up after the fall and later walked back house along with her brother. However, on reaching house, she collapsed. As her oldsters had been at paintings, her brother raised an alarm and alerted the neighbours who took her to a public health centre. Doctors examined her and declared her dead.
While her frame has been ship for an post-mortem, medical doctors stated she had suffered critical accidents to the chest due to the fall. A case of accidental dying has been registered.
