One arrested for murder over property brokerage

SURAT: Crime department sleuths nabbed a 30-year-old guy for murdering a 35-year-old resident of Bharimata right here on Tuesday. The accused hit a pipe on the forehead of the victim which ended in his dying on the spot. There was a dispute over brokerage in a property deal between the two.

Police arrested Praful Arun Nathjogi alias Marathi (30), for the alleged homicide of Dipak More. The accused stopped More saying he sought after to talk to him and when the victim got off his scooter, Nathjogi hit him with an iron rod. Police registered an offence at Lalgate police station and arrested the accused from town. More’s body was discovered mendacity on Singanpore Causeway Road together with his scooter nearby. He was attacked when there was no longer much public movement on the street, at around 8am. He was returning after losing his son at a tuition elegance.

Family members of the victim told police that More had developed some dispute with Nathjogi. “The accused had some dispute over brokerage in a property take care of More. Nathjogi, a property dealer, believed More was seeking to seize away his clients,” a crime department respectable said.
