NEW DELHI: The Election Commission of India on Saturday refused to make any comment at the remarks made through Congress over the alternate of press conference timings through the poll frame to announce assembly election dates.
Referring to remarks made through Congress chief Randeep Surjewala, the manager election commissioner stated, "politicians are political creatures and they have to see politics in everything. We have to make no comments on that."

CEC OP Rawat apologised for the last minute alternate in the time of the click conference and in addition defined the details the explanations for the alternate in timings.
The CEC listed three reasons for shifting of the click conference timing:
1. Last-minute assessment of timeline for newsletter of Telanagana rolls
2. Pending HC course that Telangana rolls should be shown to it first
three. Request from a state to lengthen bypolls
Earlier, the Congress stated it seems that the EC not on time its scheduled press conference to announce poll dates for four states as a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech at a public rally in Rajasthan.
Congress leader spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala stated, "The EC was supposed to hold a press conference at 12.30 pm to announce polls in four states. But, it was postponed to 3 pm."
The apparent reason why might be to facilitate "Modi to deliver his speech at a rally at 1 pm in Rajasthan", he stated.
