Student leader injured in TDP-YSRC clashes

VIJAYAWADA: The clashes that broke out throughout the polling day between TDP and YSRC around the state persisted at some places on 3rd day. Nellore district president of Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF), the coed wing of TDP, Kakarla Tirumala Naidu was once allegedly attacked through YSRC employees on Sunday.

Tirumala Naidu was once seriously injured in the assault and is being treated at a non-public health center.


The TDP leaders alleged that Nellore rural MLA contestant from YSRC, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has been threatening Tirumala Naidu to forestall marketing campaign for TDP candidate Abdul Azeez. As Tirumala Naidu did not heed to his threats, Reddy’s males focused him.


About ten folks adopted Tirumala Naidu on Sunday and attacked him with rods causing critical accidents.


Tension prevailed in Nellore as TDP employees staged a protest and attempted to barge into the YSRC place of job. They tore aside the flexes in entrance of YSRC place of job and raised slogans not easy the immediate arrest of Sridhar Reddy.


Police rushed to the spot and avoided TDP employees from entering the YSRC place of job. They lodged a case in the issue and are investigating the subject.


A equivalent incident was once reported at Bapulapadu in Krishna district. The TDP and YSRC employees clashed with each and every different, pelting stones and attacking with sticks.
