Actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol on Monday filed his nomination papers as BJP candidate to contest his debut Lok Sabha polls from Gurdaspur, Punjab, in opposition to sitting Congress MP and Punjab Congress president Sunil Jakhar and Aam Aadmi Party’s Peter Masih Cheeda. Earlier within the morning, Deol, whose real title is Ajay Singh Deol, paid obeisance at Harmandar Sahib, Amritsar.
