KURUKSHETRA: Congress candidate from Kurukshetra Nirmal Singh filed his nomination papers on Tuesday, accompanied through Congress leaders - together with former MP Naveen Jindal, Congress spokesman Randeep Singh Surjewala and Chitra Sarwara (Nirmal’s daughter).
Before going for the nomination, Nirmal Singh paid obeisance at a number of temples in Kurukshetra and Gurdwara Patshahi Chevin and Gurdwara Neeldhari in Kurukshetra adopted through a public amassing.
Nirmal Singh said, “The Kurukshetra has the potential of being evolved as a world stage vacationer spot and Congress will make the efforts to increase it. I'm assured of winning from here as I have already started to obtain love from the people of Kurukshetra.”
While addressing the gathering, Surjewala said “Time has come to expose the lies of Prime Minister and Haryana leader minister who had made false guarantees all through their rallies in Kurukshetra. The BJP leaders don't seem to be speaking about giving jobs and 50 consistent with cent profit on the cost of manufacturing to farmers and the place are ache din? The BJP has been trying to finish the relation of commission agents and farmers. Modi and Khattar have been disrespecting this state and in particular Kurukshetra with their wrong policies and poor governance.”
“The BJP has no longer given admire to its Dalit leaders in the party and we all have seen that. They declare about giving jobs on merit, but the reality is that the jobs and papers are being offered,” he added and also discussed the incidents of Satlok Ashram in Hisar, violence all through Jat reservation and killing of Dera followers in Panchkula.”
Surjewala said, “The BJP has been trying to achieve votes in the name of the Army but the BJP will never be successful. The Army works for the country and no longer for any party.”
Naveen Jindal said, “My relation with Kurukshetra isn't political and I can continue to serve it.” He sought strengthen for Nirmal Singh and said, “I have been given opportunity 3 times through the party. We have been getting excellent strengthen from all the sections of society. Nirmal Singh is a senior chief and we can serve Kurukshetra together.”
When he was once asked if there was once any pressure on him to to not contest, he said, “There was once no pressure on me. It is all about time and circumstances.” Meanwhile, Surjewala added, “No one can pressure Naveen or every other Congressmen.”
