This 94-year-old former cop in Rajkot has never missed voting

RAJKOT: The 94-year-old Balesinh Ghatubha hasn't ever neglected to vote in any elections in his entire life to this point. A resident of Rajkot and neighbour of leader minister Vijay Rupani, Balesinh casts his vote in the similar polling booth where Rupani votes.
This time too, Balesinh solid his vote at Anil Gyan Mandir school of Raiya road within the first hour after vote casting started on Tuesday.


Balesinh is a retired police constable and he was once deployed on safety responsibility of first high minister Jawaharlal Nehru when he visited Gujarat. Recalling his revel in, Balesinh said, "Nehru saw the water crisis of Surendranagar and Kutch and decided to construct Sardar Sarovar Yojna".


"There were many development works done during Congress rule but BJP is taking credit for them. At that time politicians were real public leaders."


He was once additionally on responsibility when former high minister Indira Gandhi visited Gujarat.


He urged the young generation to vote for his or her long term and the country.
