SURAT: Three individuals, including a woman, have been booked at Varachha police station on Saturday for cheating a bunch of parents, who have been looking for admissions for their children in reputed colleges of the city. Police booked the accused for cheating 50 parents of Rs40.50 lakh, however no one has been arrested as yet.
Pratik Davariya, his father Hasmukh, residents of Utran, and Jyoti Patel, a resident of Varachha, have been booked for criminal breach of agree with and cheating underneath Indian Penal Code. The police grievance was once lodged by Jatin Nakrani, a textile businessman.
The accused took Rs75,000 for each and every kid from the fogeys after assuring them of admissions in their children in missionary colleges positioned at Athwalines.
