Traffic diversion today for temple chariot procession

Coimbatore: As part of the Dhandumariamman temple pageant, the chariot procession will start from Koniamman Temple on Big Bazaar Street at 6am on Wednesday and achieve Dhandumariamman Temple on Avinashi Road by means of midday. As a consequence, the visitors within the procession course might be blocked for 6 hours.

The chariot procession will begin at Koniamman Temple in Town Hall and achieve Dhandumariamman Temple on Avinashi Road by means of passing via Oppanakara Street, Lingappa Chetty Street, Milk Market, Syrian Church Road, Brookebond Road, Avinashi Road, Somasundaram Road, Anuparapalayam, Dr Nanjappam Road and after all beneath the Avinashi Road.


The visitors police will divert all automobiles from Pollachi and Palakkad, going against Oppanakara Street, to Valankulam bypass or Perur bypass. All automobiles heading to Ukkadam from Mettupalayam Road or Thadagam Road, can achieve their vacation spot by means of using via Ponnaiahrajapuram and Chokkampudhur.


All automobiles continuing against town from Perur can also power up to Sivalaya Theatre Junction and then power via Chokkampudhur to Gandhipark and from there on —Avinashi Road.


Cars from Avinashi Road going against Ukkadam can take a left at JM Bakes Signal and achieve Ukkadam by the use of Railway Station Rosad, Race Course or Trichy Road.
