Transporter’s son held for assault

Vadodara: Controversial transporter Bhanvarlal Gaur’s son Amit Gaur was once arrested with five others on Saturday night time for creating ruckus at a neighborhood meeting held via migrants from Rajasthan in Sama. The accused had allegedly thrashed and threatened neighborhood members present on the meeting on Friday night time.
Amit and five other accused Madanlal Sharma, Bhanvarlal Bishnoi, Ganaram Bishnoi, Bharat Kumavat and Sanjay Jangid referred to as a gathering of neighborhood members on Friday night time at Vishwakarma temple in Sama. After performing religious ceremonies on the temple, the accused announced that they are planning to create an organization named Akhil Rajasthan Samaj in Vadodara. The meeting was once referred to as to speak about things sooner than introduction of the group.

In the middle of the meeting, the complainant Shravankumar Bishnoi objected saying that there's already an organization with equivalent goal since previous five years. It was once even registered closing year. Shravankumar alleged that the accused unnoticed his objection and insisted on creating parallel group following which a controversy ensued. When Shravankumar persisted arguing, one of the accused attempted pushing him out of the room and some other accused kicked his cousin Omprakash Bishnoi.


Later, they thrashed the duo and threatened them of dire consequences. In the melee, the duo’s mobile phones had been also broken. They left the place, but did not means police. However, on Saturday night time they reached Sama police station with their criticism after consulting elders of the neighborhood.


An offence of assault, prison intimidation and rioting was once registered and all six of them had been arrested on Saturday night time.


Amit and his father Bhanvarlal had been marred via controversy when they had been arrested for hatching a plot to gun down former BJP member and realtor Dharmendrasinh Vaghela in September 2016. Bhanvarlal and Vaghela had been embroiled in a row over a plot of land in Sama.
