KANPUR: A 15-month-old woman was rescued unscathed from a 10-foot-deep pit during which she had fallen whilst enjoying in Pachkhor village of Attarra town in Banda district on Tuesday.
Pushpa, daughter of Bhawanideen Prajapati, fell within the pit being drilled for a concrete pillar just about the rural fields the place her folks have been working. After she fell, her folks attempted to drag her out however failed. They alerted the locals and the police have been knowledgeable.
Thereafter, senior district and police officers, together with SP Ganesh Saha, SDM Saurabh Shukla, CO Kuldeep Gupta and SHO Attarra Baljeet Singh, rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.
“The child had fallen within the 10-ft-deep pit just about the rural fields. We cordoned off all of the area to prevent a crowd that had accrued at the spot from attaining just about the pit as it will have brought about mudslide, endangering the girl’s existence,” said a senior legit.

Once the child was in transparent sight, the gadget was withdrawn and the rescuers used their bare hands to dig the soil,” he added.
The folks and different family members of the child have been present through the side of the pit the place they saved speaking to her to understand her response and console her so that she didn’t panic.
“It’s God’s grace that apart from for a few bruises, the child didn't suffer any damage. After the rescue, we rushed her to the local community well being centre for scientific examination. She was passed over to her folks after the medical doctors declared her have compatibility,” SP Ganesh Saha added.
