Wikileaks founder Julian Assange began his prison fight against being extradited to the US from the UK to face charges of allegedly leaking American govt secrets and techniques. Seeking diplomatic protection from the Australian govt, Assange stated that he does now not want to give up "for doing journalism that has won many, many awards and protected many people."
