The Archbishop of Bengaluru, Rev Peter Machado, issued instructions to all churches in Bengaluru archdiocese to take extra precautions and building up vigilance and protection awareness among parishioners. His instructions included to not leave baggage unattended at any time, avoid bringing backpacks to mass and to record anything else suspicious.
