NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi govt has claimed that there was an enormous development in govt colleges, in keeping with the CBSE results of Class 12 board examinations.
The cross percentage this year is 94.24 in step with cent whilst 203 colleges within the state have secured 100 in step with cent cross percentage which used to be 168 in 2018 and 112 in 2017, learn a statement factor on Thursday.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday declared the result of Class 12 exams. Unlike ultimate year, the CBSE did not factor a separate press unencumber for Delhi area this year. "As per the results of 2019, the total pass percentage in schools run by Delhi Government is 94.24 per cent. Pass percentage of girl students is 96.30 per cent this year which has increased from 94.1 per cent last year while that of boys is 91.48 per cent which has shown a big jump from 85.98 per cent of last year," the statement said.
This year 1,29,917 scholars from colleges run via Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi appeared within the board examination out of which 1,22,428 scholars passed the examination. Last year, out of general 1, 12,826 scholars who appeared in examination 1, 02,260 passed the examination which used to be 90.64 in step with cent.
Besides, 732 colleges have secured more than 90 in step with cent effects, once more persistently increasing from 638 ultimate year and 554 in 2017. (ANI)
