In 2017, the developer had axed 2,200 timber in Choma, Gurugram, in 2017, even supposing, the wooded area division had accepted slicing of only 20 timber. The district wooded area division has submitted a document with the advice on the penalty to the NGT which is due to take a final choice. Some activists really feel that the penalty isn't enough and NGT must take stricter motion.
