WASHINGTON: US president Donald Trump on Sunday dramatically greater drive on China to reach a long-sought industry deal by pronouncing he will markedly build up US tariffs on positive Chinese items.

Trump stated on Twitter that tariffs will build up to 25% on Friday and that extra Chinese items will face additional tariffs.
