In Mumbai, some deputy commissioners were promoted as further commissioners. DCP Anil Kumbhare of Zone eight is now Additional Commissioner in Thane, taking a look after management. DCP Navin Chandra Reddy is now posted as DIG in State Reserve Police at Pune. DCP D Chavan of Zone 2 has been promoted as Additional Commissioner in-charge of protection. DCP Dilip Sawant of Crime Branch is now Additional Commissioner of north Mumbai, while Satyanarayan Choudhary of Thane police is now DIG of VIP safety. Another big round of transfers of deputy commissioners within the state is anticipated subsequent week.
