A Khunti district court docket on Tuesday found Father Alphons Aind in charge within the June 2018 Kochang gang rape case, where five girls were abducted and raped while they were acting a a boulevard play. Aind, who has been sent to judicial custody, used to be the priest of Roman Catholic Church at Burudih in Kochang, the epicentre of the Pathalgarhi movement within the state. The building comes an afternoon after Khunti went to the polls.
