The city police on Sunday arrested a PhD scholar who posed as a member of a NEET committee and cheated five medical aspirants of Rs four.95 crore. Police stated S Nagaraj, 42, contacted V Senthilnathan, 40, from Kodambakkam in 2016 and presented himself as a member of the National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) committee, and stated he had a say in medical admissions.
