Roshan Taneja who was once considered because the Dronacharya of the movie industry passed on to the great beyond at his Juhu home. He started the appearing direction at FTII in Pune.

Shabana who was once a student at FTII tweeted, "Late last night came the sad news that Roshan Taneja passed away. He was my Guru at FTII and the only person whose feet I touched. I was privileged to be trained in acting by him."
Roshan Taneja, known to many because the "pioneer of method acting" in India, is held in high regard within the Hindi movie industry.
Ranbir Kapoor at an match in Mumbai additionally shared his thoughts and paid a tribute to the legend, who educated his father Rishi Kapoor.
"He is such a great legend of our film industry. He taught my father, and when I was shooting for 'Saawariya', I took some classes from Roshan Taneja with Sonam, before the shooting. I wish his soul rests in peace. He has been a great talent," mentioned Ranbir.
