AMBALA: On Friday, virtually all of the personal schools within the district remained closed because of which nearly 2 lakh students weren't able to wait their categories. The protest by way of the non-public schools was held on the call of National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA) towards Rule 134-A (Right to Education (RTE) in Haryana). Kulbhushan stated, "The government pays an allowance of Rs 1125 per month to its employees for the education of their children and in such way, the government should also reimburse the private schools for the admissions taken under Rule 134-A. The state government is adopting double standards and the NISA will not admit the same. If the government does not accept our demand state-level agitation will be initiated and the government will also have to bear its reaction in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections."
In the absence of DC, district earnings officer Vinod Sharma accepted the memorandum of call for submitted by way of the non-public schools.
