The Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to listen to the fresh plea of former Kolkata police commissioner Rajeev Kumar in quest of extension of protection from arrest in the multi-crore Saradha chit fund rip-off. Kumar, in his fresh plea, has mentioned the safety from arrest which expires Friday, be prolonged until the attorneys' stir in the state ends.
