SC allows SSC to declare CGL 2017 result

NEW DELHI: In a big reduction to the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Supreme Court on Thursday allowed it to claim the 2017 Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination outcome for recruitment within the Central government.


A bench of Justice S.A. Bobde and S.A. Nazeer lifted its keep order on the SSC CGL 2017 examination outcome.


The alleged paper leak of the 2017 SSC CGL examination forced the highest court to place a keep order on the results.


On Thursday, the court additionally appointed a top energy committee headed by means of former Supreme Court pass judgement on Justice (Retd) G.S. Singhvi to suggest steps to make engaging in front tests for jobs and admission in instructional institutions foolproof.


The alleged leak of the 2017 SSC CGL question paper result in protests from activity seekers for several days. Later, the Central Bureau of Investigation launched a preliminary enquiry into the incident.
