As part of improving India's defence functions, scientists had been quietly operating on all-terrain artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled robots that may sooner or later patrol the country's borders. Scientists from BEL, who began work on this first responder robotic in December 2018, are confident of getting the first prototype by December 2019.
