BENGALURU: Apple CEO Tim Cook said a revised pricing technique has led to higher gross sales in India. “We have made some adjustments in India and we’ve observed preliminarily some higher effects there. Everything that we do does advise everything we do sooner or later, so we attempt to be informed the best we can and fold that into our pondering. And we’ll clearly do that with this as well,” Cook said, responding to an analyst’s query throughout the most recent income call.

In April, Apple lowered the price of iPhone X by 22%. Cook reiterated that India is a very important marketplace within the long-term. “It’s a difficult marketplace within the short-term. But we’re finding out so much. We have started manufacturing there, which is essential so to serve the marketplace in an affordable means. And we’re rising that capacity there.”
He said it doesn’t trouble him that it’s essentially Android industry at the present time because “that simply means there’s a lot of opportunity there”.
“And we want to place retail retail outlets there. And we’re operating with the government to seek approval to do this. And so, we plan on getting into there with form of all of our might,” he said.
