Yes Bank shares dive 30% on Q4 loss

NEW DELHI: Shares of Yes Bank plummeted just about 30 according to cent on Tuesday after the company reported a loss of Rs 1,506.64 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, owing to upward thrust in provisioning for dangerous loans.

The scrip after a susceptible opening additional tumbled 28.39 according to cent to Rs 170 on the BSE.


At the NSE, stocks plunged 29.76 according to cent to Rs 166.60.

The scrip was the worst hit some of the front-line firms on each the indices all over the morning trade.

Markets had been closed on Monday due to elections in Mumbai.


The bank had recorded a web profit of Rs 1,179.44 crore on standalone basis all over January-March period of 2017-18, it stated in a regulatory submitting on Friday.


The bank's overall source of revenue rose to Rs 8,388.38 crore as in opposition to Rs 7,163.95 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, the bank had stated in the submitting.


On the asset quality front, gross non-performing property (NPAs) of the bank doubled to three.22 according to cent of the gross advances as on March 31, 2019 from 1.28 according to cent at the end of 2017-18.
