The first section of "Operation Sunrise" used to be conducted 3 months in the past along the Indo-Myanmar border, throughout which a lot of camps of north-east-based militant teams had been busted. Myanmar is among the strategic neighbours of India and shares a 1,640-km border with a lot of north-eastern states, together with the militancy-hit Nagaland and Manipur.
