Gujarat cadre IPS officer and an accused in the 2002 riots case of Bilkis Bano, R S Bhagora, who was serving as deputy commissioner of visitors (DCP), west, in Ahmedabad town, has been disregarded from provider through the Union home ministry, best police officials stated on Thursday. The decision comes at the heels of the Supreme Court wondering Gujarat government in April this year relating to disciplinary action taken in opposition to Bhagora and four others police officers convicted for dereliction of accountability whilst probing the group rape and murder case.
