Botswana's prime court docket dominated on Tuesday in favour of decriminalising homosexuality, handing down a landmark verdict greeted with pleasure by homosexual rights campaigners. Under the rustic's 1965 penal code, homosexuality is punishable by a jail time period of as much as seven years. But Judge Michael Elburu declared it was once time to "set aside" the "provisions of a Victorian era".
