The delivery ministry has determined to get rid of the minimum tutorial qualification required to get a licence to drive heavy cars (buses and vans). Drivers involved in 3.35 road lakh accidents out of four.eight lakh in India in 2016 had tutorial qualification of Class VIII and above. “There is not any knowledge to establish that accidents are related to uneducated drivers,” said a delivery division authentic.
