Election Commission declines to share details on violations of model code of conduct by PM, other politicians

In a reply to an RTI question, the Election Commission declined to offer a copy of record noting of dissent notes given by way of one of the crucial two commissioners while deciding at the instances of violations of the model code of habits by way of the PM all the way through the general election marketing campaign. Citing the explanation EC stated that compilation of the information would disproportionately divert its resources.
