Government's stress on infrastructure, EVs; 35,000 km of national highways to be built by 2022: President Ram Nath Kovind

President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday mentioned the federal government's endeavour is to construct 35,000 km of highways by 2022 and to put a strong basis for city infrastructure that will encourage employment era. Addressing the joint sitting of each Houses of Parliament, the President mentioned electrical automobiles are being promoted to cut back pollution.
