An RTI reaction has printed that earlier in the decade, several norms have been overlooked while developing Sector 58. Multi-storey constructions and residential colonies have been built in the sector over a submergence space (flood-prone zone), and licences for those have been granted in spite of warnings of the state’s irrigation department.
