In-laws turn out to be outlaws

Just two days into her marriage, this bride realised that her husband and his family had been fraudsters and that she was her husband’s fourth wife.

The man had allegedly attempted this trick on 3 different girls to con them off cash and jewellery.

The 22-year-old victim from Tannery Road in KG Halli was married to Ammanulla Basha, 29, who had claimed to be working in Dubai as a teacher. After the marriage, her in-laws took her to Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu. But at the day after the marriage, her folks began panicking when they might now not speak to their daughter at the phone. The accused who have been arrested are identified as Ammanulla Basha, 29, the bridegroom, his father Basha Buda Khan, 58, and a relative identified as Zakeer Hussain, 47, all from Kumar Giri Colony in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu.

Khan along side Hussain, is claimed to have introduced the marriage proposal to Gulfarn Saab, the victim’s father. Khan, who claimed that his son was working in a foreign country and drawing a wage of Rs 1.25 lakh per thirty days, expressed his interest in making the second one daughter of Gulfarn Saab as his daughter-in-law. Basha and the lady had been married on May 23 at a mosque on Tannery Road.

The wedding ceremony went off smartly but issues took a turn for the more serious on the next day.

“After the marriage, at the similar night, Basha took his newly-wed wife to his native position in Dharmapuri. The next day, when Saab telephoned his daughter, he didn't get any response from her. When repeated calls went unanswered, Saab and the opposite family members began panicking. On May 25th around 10 am within the morning, Ammanulla Basha who responded the decision once more stated that they might be coming to Bengaluru in some days they usually lady’s folks may talk to her then,” stated an officer who is part of the investigations.

Suspecting foul play, the victim’s folks and different family members rushed to Dharmapuri and discovered that they had been conned. After a heated argument, the family introduced the victim back to their area on Tannery Road asking their son-in-law to return to the mosque within the city where his wedding ceremony took place.
