PM Modi said on Saturday that India will give a contribution to the conservation of one of the Maldives' iconic Friday Mosque, a ancient landmark made up of coral stones. Built in 1658, Friday Mosque is one of the oldest and maximum ornate mosques in the town of Male in Kaafu Atoll. The mosque used to be added to the tentative UNESCO World Heritage cultural listing in 2008.
