Marine Drive police arrested a 43-year-old Pedder Road resident inside 24 hours after he conned a girl he had befriended through a marriage portal of 2 phones. After few dates he led her to believe that it was once his father’s birthday and satisfied her to get a new telephone to a five-star resort, and underneath the pretext of chatting with his dad, fled along with her cellular and the brand new one.
